Albany - Syracuse NIT Season Tip Off Preview

Syracuse students agree: Albany schmalbany.
The next round of the NIT Preseason Tournament is hapening tonight in the Carrier Dome for Syracuse and winner over Brown, Albany. The Great Danes are a steadily improving team over the past few seasons. Going to a record last season of 16-16, they improved nine more wins from the previous season. But they lost their leading scorer from that team. They do return All-America East Conference Logan Aronhalt (14.6 ppg) and Mike Black (12.3 ppg), but considering that Syracuse has Kris Joseph and the rest of the scholarship players, Albany is severely lacking in firepower. And Syracuse's defense has been locked in both games so far this season. Fab Melo is contributing and taking charges. Albany has no chance in this game. Syracuse is your winner by 28.
This game will be available on TWCS in Upstate NY, as well as ESPN 3. It should be another fun one to watch if you like one sided affairs. I'll be in the Dome tonight first hand for this one, so enjoy the occasional Tweet tonight. This one isn't national in coverage so I get you may be left wanting.
