There Used To Be Clocks Here

You Mean UConn Has A Good Team Not Full of Women?

It is not hard to fool voters in any capacity.
The latest polls for NCAA Division 1 Basketball have been released, as they are traditionally this day of the week. After #1 Duke (they should have never been at the top) lost last week to Wake Forrest, by default that they keep winning, Connecticut is the new #1 team in America. While they may or may not deserve this distinction is a topic for another article on another day, I simply want to point out one simple truth. The last time Connecticut was #1 in the nation was in 2006, during the week of every conference tournament. Connecticut had a first round bye in the Big East Tournament and because 9th seeded Syracuse beat Cincinnati on a last second three point runner from Gerry McNamara, Syracuse then had to face Connecticut. As you hopefully know, Syracuse ended up winning that game in overtime, thus beating the #1 team in the country. You get off the bus, you play the game, you get on the bus, you go home.

Syracuse plays UConn the one and only time during the regular season Wednesday February 11, 2009 at 7:00pm in Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, Connecticut. I’ll be there, chronicling all the ridiculousness, and hopefully some upset magic.
Also, 12 more days until we Orange Out The Dome versus Georgetown.

Josh Boone looks like a girl. That's probably why people got confused easily.
