Louisville - Syracuse Preview

Syracuse students agree: Patino will look like a Mobster.

This is probably the toughest game so far to preview. Louisville is currently undefeated in the conference at 5-0 and overall has a record of 14-3. This team is dangerous and they were all but out of it for the Pittsburgh game, and within the last three minutes, on expert shooting, they were able to beat #1 Pittsburgh. They are lead in scoring by Earl Clark with 14ppg and 8.9rpg. Also, Samardo Samuels averages 13.7ppg and Terrence Williams is averaging 13.4ppg and 9.3rpg. Syracuse will have to make smart shots, use their possessions well, and get both offensive and defensive rebounds to beat this L’ville team. They can push the tempo or kill in the half court set. It all depends on what defense Jim Boeheim selects and how effective it is. Onuaku and Jackson will have to box out to eliminate this Cardinal threat. Because we are playing in the Carrier Dome, Syracuse by seven.
