Syracuse Football: 2006

How will Perry Patterson and the Orange fair in 2006?
The early money is on "hopefully better than Buffalo."
Eds. Note: Over the course of the summer, this notebook will dedicate some prime internet real estate to a 2006 Syracuse Orange "preview." This preview is intended only for purposes of highlighting Syracuse's many positional deficiencies and should not, under any circumstance, be construed as an optimistic outlook toward Syracuse's 2006 campaign.

Even though I left the Syracuse area in 1976 to move to sunny California, I have kept an eye on and have pulled for SU. Is it really in the cards for the 2006 season that the Orange will be as pathetic as alot the publications state? Please say it ain't so!
