I had no idea just how brutal it was until I looked today...32% on threes, 33% overall.
His efficiency numbers are even worse:
%Min: 90.3
ORtg: 105.0
%Poss: 26.1
%Shots: 27.5
eFG%: 43.3
OR%: 2.7
DR%: 5.8
FTRate: 25.5
ARate: 35.7
TORate: 20.1
%Blocks: 0.3
%Stls: 4.4
FTM/FTA%: .927
2Pt%: .350
3Pt%: .323
What this is all boiling down to is that Syracuse is relying on a horribly inefficient shooter to take a vast majority of its shots. Hence, it isn't surprising to see the Orange play inconsistent basketball.
What I really worry about is Gerry's TO% rate. That's incredibly high for a team's primary ballhandler (not even in the NCAA's top 500.)
