Syracuse - Cincinnati Preview

Syracuse students agree: Can't sleep on the Bearcats.
#3/4 Syracuse heads to Cincinnati, a team that has been so-so on the road, but has played really well at home. They have only lost to Pittsburgh at their home arena, something Syracuse is familiar with. Cincinnati has three good players and everyone else only contributes sparingly. Freshman forward Lance Stephenson (12ppg, 5.1rpg), guard Deonta Vaughn (11.9ppg, 3.6rpg, 3.6apg) who is Cincy's only legitimate three point threat (35.3%), and inside beast Yancy Gates (10.5ppg, 6.6rpg). Gates can give Arinze Onuaku trouble down low if AO gets into foul trouble. However, with only one outside shooting threat from this team, the 2-3 Zone should be working well against the Bearcats. They should limit the inside scoring of Gates and Stephenson overall, and should keep this team in check. Cincy has played well at home, but they have not faced a talented team like this Syracuse squad so far this year. Wes Johnson will be on the floor for the Orange and should be ready to go as well after taking that huge tumble against Providence. Look for the Orange to roll in the second half again. Syracuse over Cincinnati by 16.

what kind of hack prediction is this? SU pulled away in the second half to win by 17, not 16 ;)

props on the pick. you had a much better weekend than Seth Davis who predicted SU and G'town would fall this weekend.
