Breaking News: Mike Williams Has Quit Football Team

Mike Williams, easily the best player on the team, has quit.
Both the Daily Orange, as well as Brent Axe of ESPN 1260 is reporting that Doug Marrone has announced that Mike Williams has quit the team. Details are not released yet but will come out soon. When that occurs, we will keep you updated. This is terrible news for a team that is coming off another conference loss as Williams is Syracuse's most talented player on any side of the ball.

    I made a pretty lengthy response on 3 Idiots on Sports regarding this. But in a nutshell, Mike Williams was pretty overrated. Yes, he made some good catches, but he had some pretty stupid drops as well. I think SU is better in the long run with Williams leaving. He's too disruptive.
